Save the Date: Inaugural Dragon Art Dash

A Creative Opportunity for Students to Build Their Art Collection
The John Cooper School's Fine Arts Festival is excited to announce its first Dragon Art Dash, an innovative art gallery event that will bring together students of all ages to share and appreciate the creativity within our school community. The Dragon Art Dash will showcase donated art pieces created by Cooper Middle and Upper School students, offering a unique opportunity for Lower School students to begin building their very own art collection.

The gallery will be divided into two sections to ensure a personalized experience for all students. Pre-kindergarten through 1st-grade students will have the chance to select from a collection of Middle School artworks, while 2nd through 5th-grade students can choose from pieces donated by Upper School artists.

This event allows Middle and Upper School students the opportunity to contribute their own artistic creations to the gallery, promoting a sense of community and artistic expression across all grade levels. All Middle and Upper School students (grades 6-12) are invited to participate by contributing their own creations to the gallery.

Don't miss this wonderful opportunity to explore the artistry of your peers and take home a piece of the School’s vibrant culture. Join us at the Fine Arts Festival on April 9th, 2025, from 3:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. in The Sims Student Center, and be part of the inaugural Dragon Art Dash!
