Middle School Cooper Connects Students Give Back
Students assemble breakfast bags to donate as part of a pilot program.
Middle School Cooper Connects students assembled “breakfast bags” for the Montgomery County Food Bank as part of a pilot program. These bags will be distributed to the local school counselors to have on hand for students who miss or do not have access to breakfast in the mornings. Some of the donated items that were used in these breakfast bags included milk, protein bars, fruit bars, and fruit cups.
"Our students are enthusiastic and excited to give back. We are proud of their efforts and leadership in raising awareness, organizing, and driving these efforts," said Ms. Elizabeth Gomez, Middle School Counselor at The John Cooper School. Thank you to Ms. Gomez for helping set up this amazing service event for our students!

Cooper Connects membership offers a unique opportunity for students to become integral contributors to The John Cooper School community.
