The Gift of Music in Lower School

Thank you to the Fine Arts Council!
This week felt like the holidays in the Lower School music rooms as a special delivery arrived—courtesy of the Fine Arts Council! Thanks to the generous funding from the Fine Arts Council, Lower School students can now access a brand-new Tubano drums classroom set. These vibrant, hand-crafted drums are already adding a dynamic beat to music lessons, allowing every student the chance to explore rhythm, creativity, and teamwork.

Students are so excited to feature these drums in the upcoming 3rd-5th Grade Holiday programs to showcase their new skills and make the holiday season even more musical with these fantastic instruments.

Save the date for the Lower School Holiday programs:

The Fine Arts Council continues to provide incredible opportunities in the arts for Cooper students, and this new set of Tubano drums is just one example of how their support fosters learning and creativity. The John Cooper School is grateful for the Fine Arts Council's dedication to enhancing Cooper's Fine Arts programs.
